While working for Westat, a few clients under my supervision were child branches of NIH; TOPMed (Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine), ODP I-statement (Office of Disease Prevention) and OPEN Source. For each agency different UX methodologies were applied to update and modernize the website along with the internal portal used by the agency staff members.
TOPMed
Lead the interview research and analysis. Created IA based upon current user needs while applying modern UX/UI best practices. Address 508 Accessibility Compliance in all UX/UI wireframes and Visual Designs.
ODP I-Statement
ODP Needed more over an overhaul on how the internal research portal worked. Created Facilitator guides, gave consultation on interview guidelines, created high-level IA, wireframes all new UX pages and forms, lead designer to render final Visual Designs to hand off to dev team.
OPEN Source
OPEN Source is one of the most adaptive form builder, creator in the medical field. Stuck in the early 2000s digital architecture, a complete redesign was needed. Based upon internal interviews, created a new IA, streamlined the breath of the site, brought modern UX to page flows, and worked with designer to bring modern look and feel to rebranding OPEN.
